It seems that Apple has considered this Wifi bug a top priority. That's why they bring iOS 14.7 in the next few days.

For information, this iPhone Wifi function is error due to a bug when the device is connected with a strange hotspot name “%p%s%s%s%s%n”. If it is connected, the Wifi function on the iPhone can no longer be used.

Other network names like “%secretclub%power” can also disable the Wifi function completely. As a result, some devices connected to the network can no longer connect to Wifi.

It is known that the problem is that there is a percent or % character in the network name. This character is then mistaken for iOS as a command reader, not just plain text.

That original bug can only be triggered if the user tries to connect to such a WiFi network, something that most should be avoided in the first place, even without this bug.
