Apple has quietly released a new MagSafe Battery Pack accessory aimed at the iPhone 12 series. Previously this wireless charger has been around for a long time, but it is not an official Apple product.
The way it works, MagSafe is similar to a power bank, but uses wireless or wireless technology. The device will attach magnetically to the back of the iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, or iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Citing 9to5mac, this MagSafe has a total battery capacity of 1,460mAh. Apple claims this power can fully charge the iPhone 12 Mini and almost fully charge the iPhone 12 battery.
If charged, this MagSafe will charge the iPhone 12 at a speed of about 5 W. The battery percentage will be visible in the battery widget and on the lock screen.

In addition, this MagSafe charger can also be charged at the same time as the iPhone. Users only need to insert the charger cable into the iPhone, then the phone's battery status will be charged along with the MagSafe attached to the back.
For faster battery charging, Apple recommends that users use a 20 Watt USB-C cable when charging MagSafe and iPhone 12 at the same time.
The MagSafe Battery Pack actually appeared as an accessory with the launch of the iPhone 12. However, it's not an official MagSafe accessory, so this new device is the only official MagSafe Battery Pack.
The MagSafe Battery Pack is available for $99 and will ship first on July 19. Furthermore, this accessory is only compatible for iPhone 12 series running at least iOS version 14.7.
